The Great Divorce (a book you should read)
Earth: Heaven or Hell?

I read the introduction which I don't usually do...

Okay, I am not a "read the introduction" person. I skip introductions. (Maybe taking an hour to read the introduction in that Lord of the Rings book had something to do with it.) Or it was the Preface. But for some unknown reason, I read the introduction (I mean Preface) to The Great Divorce. And guess what I found out? Okay, here we go, quotation from The Great Divoce: "I think earth, if chosen instead of Heaven, will turn out ot have been, all along, only a reagion in Hell: and earth, if put second to Heaven, to have been from the beginning a part of Heaven itself." I thought this very interesting. So this is what I think of it: I think C.S. Lewis is talking about compairing Heaven to earth. Like you are obsessed over what the world thinks of you, you don't think about what God thinks of you. Earth is just part of Hell for you. But, if you think of what God thinks of you, you put the world under God. It's like earth is part of Heaven. It is sort of confusing. But still, kind of understandable. So this is the moral: Put God before Man.
